Together, Britain’s train companies have boosted their timetables to help get more than 8 million people to and from the 2012 Games. Every day during the 2012 Games, they will be running more trains with more carriages and provide over 100 extra services that will start earlier in the morning and finish later at night - a record breaking effort to help get you to your Games event on time. Capacity into Stratford station alone has been increased by more than 350% at peak times and extra train services will run to and from London Liverpool Street to help get people to the Olympic Park.

Special fares and conditions are currently available for rail travel between 18 July and 14 September 2012. Train tickets are likely to get snapped up fast once they go on general sale, so make sure you buy now before they are available to the general public in April.
