Anglia Plus

To make it easier, and better value, for you to explore Norfolk, Suffolk and parts of Cambridgeshire by train, we have developed the Anglia Plus range of tickets.

The beauty of these train tickets is that you can 'hop on and hop off' the train - so you can visit more than one destination in a day.

Choose between a One Day Pass or a 'Three Days in Seven' Pass, and there's no need to book in advance - just turn up and go! The tickets can be purchased on the day of travel from any Greater Anglia staffed rail station or from the conductor on the train if you start your journey from an unstaffed station.

FREE local bus travel with Anglia plus

If you're travelling to Norwich, Ipswich, Great Yarmouth or Bury St. Edmunds, you'll enjoy an even easier, more affordable journey because our Anglia Plus Passes offer free travel on the following local bus services:

  • Norwich - Any direct service operated by First Eastern Counties between Norwich railway station and the city centre or within zones 1-4.
  • Ipswich - Any direct service operated by First Eastern Counties or Ipswich Buses between Ipswich or Derby Road railway stations and the town centre.
  • Bury St. Edmunds - Any direct service operated by First Eastern Counties between Bury St. Edmunds railway station and the town centre.

Anglia Plus One Day Pass

Spend the day travelling wherever you like within the Anglia Plus area for just £16.00 per adult and up to 4 accompanied children can travel for just £2 each with this great value fare.

Anglia Plus Three Days in Seven Pass

This pass gives you all the flexibility of the One Day Pass for just £32 per adult - which means your third day's travel is free! You choose whichever three days you'd like to travel within a seven day period and children are still just £2 each when accompanied by an adult.

Both passes are valid after 08.45 Monday's to Friday's (with a few local exceptions allowing earlier travel) and anytime at weekends and on Bank Holidays. All prices current from 2 January 2011 until further notice.

You can take your bicycle with you free of charge on all Greater Anglia services in the Anglia Plus area, but space is limited so we recommend that you reserve a bicycle space to avoid disappointment. Please call Greater Anglia Customer Services (visit the Contact Us page for details) to book.

Railcard discounts are available for both the Anglia Plus One Day and Three Days in Seven passes.
