2012 Games Timetable Booklets Now Available at Greater Anglia Stations

Greater Anglia - the region’s train operator – has published its range of timetable booklets for the forthcoming 2012 Games and these are now available from staffed stations. The timetables are available in four regional variations covering the Mainline, West Anglia / Stansted Express, Southend & Metro and Rural routes operated by Greater Anglia.

Train times for the Games have already been published on-line via the Greater Anglia website at: www.greateranglia.co.uk

The timetables include details of extra late evening and additional weekend services that will be operating. The Monday to Saturday timetable will be supplemented with extra carriages on many services and extra late-evening trains to destinations including: Bishops Stortford, Harlow, Cambridge, Cheshunt, Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester, Hertford East, Ipswich, Norwich, Shenfield and Southend Victoria, and many intermediate stations served by these routes. On Sundays more trains will operate, with a revised Saturday timetable running on key routes serving the Games.

During the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Greater Anglia will be providing around an extra 150,000 seats each day on trains across its network serving London Liverpool Street, Stratford, other East London stations and the East Anglia region.
