Abellio Greater Anglia will run revised timetables over the festive period. Revised timetables and service alterations are available from the 'Planned Alterations' section of this site (accessible from the home page).
Customers are advised that during the Christmas period, Network Rail will be undertaking track maintenance work and are advised to check for service alterations at before you travel.
Wednesday 24th December
A normal weekday service will operate with an amended timetable from 15:00 and an early shutdown during the evening on most routes at around 22:00. Details of last trains are available from the Abellio Greater Anglia website or at staffed stations.
Thursday 25 December & Friday 26 December
No Abellio Greater Anglia services will operate other than a revised Stansted Express service on Boxing Day, 26 December.
Saturday 27 December
On Saturday 27 December 2014, due to overhead line renewals work, Mainline, Metro and Southend services are subject to retiming from the start of service. Revised timetables and service alterations are available from the Abellio Greater Anglia website at www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk
Sunday 28 December
A Sunday service will operate with the exception of those areas affected by Network Rail’s engineering works.
In connection with the Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester United fixture (12:00 kick-off) additional services have been arranged to call at White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park both before and after the match. During this period services to other West Anglia destinations will be subject to retiming. Please see www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk for details.
Monday 29 December, Tuesday 30 & Wednesday 31 December
On Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st December, a Saturday service will run on Stansted Express and West Anglia services.
On Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st December, a revised Saturday-style service will be in operation on Mainline, Metro and Southend routes.
The 05.31 Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich will not run on these dates.
Thursday 1 Jan
On New Year’s Day additional early morning trains will run from Liverpool Street to Enfield Town and Cheshunt via Seven Sisters, otherwise a Sunday service will operate on Stansted Express and West Anglia routes.
On Thursday 1 January 2015 (New Year's Day), a revised Sunday-style service will be in operation from London Liverpool Street to Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich and branch lines and from London Liverpool Street to Shenfield, Southminster and Southend Victoria. Trains will run from the start of service instead of the rail replacement buses shown in the standard timetable for Sunday morning.
