Abellio Greater Anglia has completed a refurbishment of the platforms at Marks Tey station this August bank holiday weekend.
Both platforms have been resurfaced and drainage improvements carried out to improve the station environment for customers.
Abellio Greater Anglia’s Head of Customer Service - East, Neil Grabham, said, “This is a significant upgrade to Marks Tey station which will create an improved station environment for our customers. Abellio Greater Anglia is committed to upgrades at stations across the network to improve the travelling experience and it seemed a good opportunity to carry out this work whilst engineering works are taking place. I would like to thank customers for their patience while this work was carried out.”
