Abellio Greater Anglia hosts recruitment 'Open Evenings'

Abellio Greater Anglia is to hold a series of ‘Open Evenings’ for those interested in a career with the railway.

The events are aimed at recruiting customer service minded individuals who will help to further the aim of the business to deliver excellent customer service.

Abellio Greater Anglia is working towards becoming a truly customer-focused organisation and has recently completed a company-wide training programme called ‘Inspire’, delivering on its franchise commitment to provide customer service training and development for every member of frontline customer service staff and their line managers.

The ‘Inspire’ programme was designed to put customer service at the heart of the business, with all frontline staff receiving training in how provide excellent service that regularly meets and exceed customers’ expectations.

Now the train operator is looking to recruit additional Area Managers and Heads of Customer Service to work as part of its Customer Service Team helping to deliver a positive and customer friendly approach at information desks, ticket offices, ticket gates, platforms and through the station management teams.

The Open Evenings are being held on Thursday 31st October from 1700 to 1900 at Solar House in Stratford, Wednesday 6th November at the Novotel in Ipswich and on Wednesday 13th November from 1700 to 1900 at the Best Western in Chelmsford.

The company is looking for motivated, experienced and dedicated people to lead and deliver a professional, high-quality retailing and customer service operation and who are passionate about working in a customer focused team environment, creating a culture of continuous improvement.

The Open Events will offer those interested the chance to find out whether this could be the right opportunity for them and discover some of the benefits of a career on the railway.
