Abellio Greater Anglia, has launched a new campaign to promote its 2-for1 offers for popular London attractions and Advance fares, perfect for a Half Term day out in the Capital.

A leaflet outlining the offers and savings available will be mailed to 600,000 homes in the region and promotes the train operator’s cheaper off peak tickets and Advance fares with the message ‘Early birds catch the savings’.

From just £9 one way from rail stations in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex that connect into the mainline service to London, Advance fares offer families the chance to enjoy a day out in London for less.

The mailing also highlights opportunities to make double savings this October by taking the train, with 2FOR1 entry to some of London’s top attractions such as the new Arcelor Mittal Orbit in Stratford (entry price Adult £15.00 Child £7.00), the London Dungeon (entry price Adult £17.50 Child £15.95), Madame Tussaud’s (entry price Adult £22.50 Child £19.29) and the London Eye (entry price Adult £26.55 Child £26.55).

There are over 150 2FOR1 attractions offers up for grabs, with something for everyone from river cruises, discounts on eating out, 2FOR1 entry to the London Zoo, Tower of London and London Sea Life Centre.

The full list of 2FOR1 vouchers can be viewed and downloaded at www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk/2for1-offers-in-london and are valid on the production of a rail ticket (see website for full terms and conditions).

Greater Anglia’s Commercial Director, Andrew Camp, said, “With our great value off peak fares and special deals with attractions in the Capital, families taking the train to London can sit back, relax and enjoy a fun half term day out for less.” Further savings can be made with the Friends and Family Railcard or by purchasing Group Travel tickets or the discounted Duo ticket, aimed at couples travelling during weekends, which can be booked via the website at www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk .
