Greater Anglia has commenced a cleaning programme at Shenfield, Colchester, Chelmsford, Ipswich and Norwich stations to improve the station environment for customers.

Each station will receive a major clean of platforms, canopies, toilets and waiting rooms, some repainting and removal of unsightly vegetation to spruce up stations along the line so that they create a much more pleasant and welcoming environment for passengers.

Greater Anglia’s Customer Services Director, Andrew Goodrum, said, “We’re working hard to improve customer service across the Greater Anglia network and ensuring our passengers experience a clean and pleasant station is extremely important to us.

“Improving and enhancing stations through this deep cleaning programme is one way that we are demonstrating our determination to make a real difference for our customers in delivering our franchise commitments.”
