Employees at Abellio Greater Anglia’s Customer Contact Centre have been nominated for a rail industry award for their contributon to charity.

Eight employees, led by Customer Relations Advisor, Steven Farrell, have been nominated for the David Maidment Award for Charity at this year’s RailStaff Awards. The Award recognises rail employees who have made a real difference by fundraising in their own time.

Thanks to their efforts and a cake sale held at the Customer Contact Centre, the team beat their target by raising £1133 for Sport Relief, leading to the nomination at this year’s RailStaff Awards.

The Railstaff Awards recognises and celebrates the courage, bravery and professionalism of the people who deliver the railway.
