Focus on cleaning at Norwich rail station

Abellio Greater Anglia is focusing on cleaning at Norwich station this week with a team of cleaners from contractor, Railscape, focusing on specific areas including:

• cleaning the waiting room, cycle racks and all glazing at the station;
• using a trailer-mounted high pressure hot water Dibo steam cleaning machine to clean all paved surfaces at the front of the station removing encrusted gum, dirt and grime;
• steam cleaning the customer toilet facilities;
• removing all litter, weeds and vegetation.

The week-long programme of work to give extra attention to these areas, in addition to the station’s usual cleaning regime, will help to bring the station up to the high standard expected by customers and create a smarter, more welcoming environment.
