Greater Anglia is providing additional train services to the Clacton Air show on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 August 2012.

Extra trains will run on both days of this year’s Clacton Air show between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea (serving intermediate stations including Hythe, Wivenhoe, Alresford, Great Bentley, Weeley and Thorpe-le-Soken). In addition, a special train service will also operate between Walton-on-the-Naze and Clacton-on-Sea.

Bob Davies Greater Anglia’s Head of Customer Service North said:

“The Clacton Air show is a fantastic day out for all of the family. Come and see the diverse aircraft taking to the sky including the Red Arrows and the Vulcan. To enjoy the 21st year of this famous air show, leave your car at home, relax and take the train to Clacton-on-Sea.”

Details of these additional services can be found on the Greater Anglia website, or by ringing National Rail Enquiries on 08457 48 49 50.
