Children can travel for less than the price of a sandwich this summer thanks to Abellio Greater Anglia’s ‘Kids for £2’ offer.

The train operator is offering the special off-peak fare to children aged between five and 15 on most routes across the network.

The £2 fare cannot be booked in advance and is only available from the station, so even a last minute trip now offers savings.

For even more savings, families travelling by rail can also take advantage of Abellio Greater Anglia’s huge range of 2FOR1 offers, with 2FOR1 entry some of London’s top attractions such as Madame Tussauds, the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, the London Dungeon, Tower Bridge Exhibition, and ZSL London Zoo.

There are over 150 2FOR1 attractions offers up for grabs, with something for everyone. The full list of 2FOR1 vouchers can be viewed and downloaded at www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk/2FOR1 and are valid on the production of a rail ticket (see website for full terms and conditions).

Andy Camp, Abellio Greater Anglia’s Commercial Director said: “This is a great opportunity for people to get out and explore the east of England. We hope this fare allows families to enjoy a great day out this summer and to make the most of the holidays.”

Pete Waters, Brand Manager at Visit East Anglia, said: “There are so many brilliant family day trips across the region and this is a perfect chance to enjoy them without the frustration of traffic jams and delays…arrive fresh and ready to have fun! Encouraging youngsters to get into the habit of using our excellent rail links is also great long-term for the environment.”

Children must be accompanied by an adult with an off-peak or super off-peak ticket, including a group of adults with GroupSave discounted tickets.
