Latest Greater Anglia Punctuality Update
Train service punctuality for Greater Anglia’s train services for the most recent four-week performance period from 18 August to 14 September 2013 saw 93.0% of trains on time across the Greater Anglia network, in the latest figures issued by Network Rail.
This is the eighth consecutive four-week performance period where Greater Anglia has recorded punctuality of at least 91% or higher.
This consistency in the delivery of improvements in train punctuality since taking over the franchise in February last year, is also improving the moving annual average (MAA) punctuality figure – which measures performance over a 12 month period for all Greater Anglia’s services – and currently stands at 92.4%. At the same period in 2012, the MAA had reached 91.5%.
Ruud Haket, Managing Director, Greater Anglia said: “By working closely with our partners at Network Rail, we are continuing to deliver consistent and further improving levels of train service performance for our customers in Greater Anglia, building on the improvements in punctuality trends achieved since we began operation of the franchise in February last year.
“We recognise there is still more work to do in achieving greater levels of consistency and will continue to concentrate our efforts on further improvement for our services across the region.”
