New facilities open at Stowmarket rail station

Rail passengers using Stowmarket rail station are benefiting from better facilities thanks to an improvement scheme carried out by Abellio Greater Anglia to refurbish the toilet facilities.

James Steward, Area Customer Service Manager, said, “The entire refurbishment project – which also included an upgrade for the waiting room – is now complete and delivering a much-improved, more comfortable waiting environment for our passengers. Investing in upgrades to stations across the network is extremely important to Abellio Greater Anglia, demonstrating our commitment to providing excellent facilities and service to our customers. I would like to thank customers for their patience while the work is being carried out and apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
