New information screens being installed at Tottenham Hale rail station will help to integrate train and tube travel.

Passengers on Platform 1 will be able to, for the first time, receive up to the minute information about their onward journey by tube thanks to the installation of two ‘Rainbow Boards’, which are being installed in partnership with Transport for London.

The screens will provide customers with up-to date information on London Underground Line arrivals, departures and service updates.

In addition, the train operator is replacing its own Customer Information Screens, with new, improved ones, to enhance information provision at the station further still.

Alan Neville, Area Customer Service Manager, said, “The investment in new screens demonstrates our commitment to providing up-to-date and accurate information and joined up transport services to passengers in London. The screens will show information in an easy to read, user friendly format and represent a welcome improvement for our customers.”

The station is also set to benefit from the installation of more CCTV cameras and received a series of thorough cleans through the Autumn to improve the station environment for customers and create a more pleasant atmosphere as they wait for trains.
