New signage creates warmer welcome at Stansted Mountfitchet station

Rail passengers using Stansted Mountfitchet station are receiving a warmer welcome thanks to improvements carried out by Abellio Greater Anglia.

The train operator has invested £5K in upgrading decades-old signage, replacing it with smart new signs.

The new signage, in Abellio Greater Anglia colours, has been designed to be clear and easy to read and has replaced all the former signage across the whole station. The result is a smarter, more welcoming appearance and clearer way-finding and customer information.

Andrew Goodrum, Abellio Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director, said, “The former signage had deteriorated and reached the end of its life, which didn’t create a very good impression for customers. The investment to replace them with brand new signs has had big impact in improving the station’s appearance and will create a more welcoming feel for passengers.”
