Abellio Greater Anglia has completed a project to upgrade Customer information Screens on rail stations platforms across the region.

144 older-style screens have been replaced with new ones featuring the latest LED technology to display train running information in a clear, easy to read format and reduce energy consumption.

Stations benefitting from the upgrade are: Audley End, Billericay, Braintree, Brimsdown, Bures, Burnham-on-Crouch, Chappel and Wakes Colne, Cheshunt, Cromer, Dovercourt, Enfield Lock, Great Bentley, Great Yarmouth, Halesworth, Harwich Town, Hatfield Peverel, Hoveton and Wroxham, Kelvedon, Lowestoft, Needham Market, Newmarket, Northumberland Park, Oulton Broad North, Ponders End, Reedham, Saxmundham, Shenfield, Sheringham, Stowmarket, St Margarets, Sudbury, Thetford, Thorpe-Le-Soken, Thurston, Ware, Wickford, and Witham.

The completion of the project means a real improvement in the provision of information for customers at the stations with brighter, clearer screens.

Andrew Goodrum, Abellio Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director, said: “We have been focusing our efforts on improving information provision for our customers and these new screens demonstrate our commitment to providing up-to-date information, in a clear, user-friendly format.”
