Train performance for period 8 (4 weeks ended 8 November) is 89.1%

Train punctuality for Abellio Greater Anglia in the most recent four-week period ended 8 November 2014 is 89.1%, as published by Network Rail in the latest public performance measure (PPM) national train performance figures for the rail industry Period 8 (2014/15). The national performance figure for Period 8 covering all Britain’s railways is 84.6%.

In the route-by-route punctuality figures for Abellio Greater Anglia in Period 8, West Anglia route punctuality is 92%; Metro & Southend 91.7%; Stansted Express 88.9%; Mainline 85.2% and Rural 84.1%.

The current moving annual average (MAA) performance figure to the end of Period 8 for Abellio Greater Anglia is 90.6% (this measures the average punctuality for the past 13 periods of train performance).

Jamie Burles, Managing Director, Abellio Greater Anglia said: "There were a number of incidents that adversely affected our train service performance in Period 8 including fatalities, weather-related incidents, infrastructure and train faults. We worked closely with Network Rail to minimise the disruption to services wherever possible and I am sorry for the inconvenience this will have caused for customers.”
