The Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership made a guest appearance at ‘Sudbury on Show’ to promote rail services in the area.

On Saturday 2 February, volunteers from the Community Rail Partnership, Greater Anglia and local station adopters worked together at a promotional stall, to raise awareness of local rail services and to encourage people to get out and about by rail, exploring the region.

Sarah Swanston Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Services Manager said: “We’re really grateful for the work the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership are doing to promote rail services in the area and to encourage the local community to explore the wonderful attractions East Anglia has to offer by rail. I’d like to thank all of the volunteers who helped on the day.”

Sudbury is served by the historic ‘Gainsborough Line’ which runs through the scenic Stour Valley, across the stunning viaduct at Chappel, to Marks Tey in north Essex.
