Local train operator Greater Anglia is supported Colchester in Bloom by sponsoring some of the prizes at their annual award ceremony, held on Sunday 9 September.
Representatives of Colchester in Bloom, including Pam Schomberg, Sherry Hodgson and Dave Harris visited Colchester station to thank local manager Sham Rashid for Greater Anglia’s support.
Pam Schomberg said: “I’d like to thank Greater Anglia for sponsoring the prizes at the annual Colchester in Bloom awards; they are the highlight of our year and the support of Greater Anglia has been of great assistance.”
Colchester in Bloom has also utilised their expertise to provide the stunning floral displays which can currently be seen at Colchester station, providing lots of seasonal colour for the enjoyment of customers and staff alike.
Sham Rashid Greater Anglia’s Area Manager said: “We’re grateful to Colchester in Bloom for providing the colourful flower baskets and tubs at the station, which enhance the station environment and we are very happy to support the annual ‘Colchester in Bloom’ awards.”
