Lucky customers were presented with complimentary first class Stansted Express tickets to celebrate the arrival of Air Moldova at Stansted Airport.
The inaugural Air Moldova flight arrived at Stansted Airport on 29 April, captained by Air Moldova’s Chief Executive Officer and qualified pilot Iulian Scorpan.
Speaking about the airline’s move back to Stansted, Iulian Scorpan CEO of Air Moldova said:
“This move to Stansted has given us the opportunity to double the frequency of flights we operate to London and I was so excited to be moving our UK flight operations from Gatwick that I decided to captain the inaugural flight myself. Direct connections to London are an important part of our business and this new twice weekly service to Stansted is already proving popular.”
Customers disembarking from the inaugural flight were presented with complimentary first class Stansted Express tickets for a journey into London Liverpool Street, by Shah Snehal of the Stansted Express Customer Service team. As part of the first class service the customers also enjoyed complimentary on-board refreshments.
