Greater Anglia’s Frinton-on-Sea station in Essex is blossoming thanks to the efforts of local station adopter Trevor Cobb.

Trevor and wife Diana have created a new raised floral display at the station, featuring a range of colourful plants. Trevor and Diana gave their time and expertise to put the display together and the project was also supported by the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership and Parker’s Garden Company.

The new display includes seasonal bedding plants, plus shrubs for all year round interest, to bring additional colour to the station and brighten up the area.

Sham Rashid Greater Anglia’s Area Manager said: “We’re really grateful to Trevor and Diana Cobb for their enthusiasm and dedication in creating this new display. We’d also like to thank the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership and Parker’s Garden Company for their support of this project. It really enhances the station environment.”
