Train performance for period 9 (4 weeks ending 6 December) is 87.3%

Train punctuality for Abellio Greater Anglia in the most recent four-week period ended 6 December 2014 is 87.3%, as published by Network Rail in the latest public performance measure (PPM) national train performance figures for the rail industry Period 9 (2014/15). The national performance figure for Period 9 covering all Britain’s railways is 85.7%.

In the route-by-route punctuality figures for Abellio Greater Anglia in Period 9, West Anglia route punctuality is 91.3%; Metro & Southend 88.7%; Stansted Express 87.9%; Rural 86.1% and Mainline 81.4%.

The current moving annual average (MAA) performance figure to the end of Period 9 for Abellio Greater Anglia is 90.7% (this measures the average punctuality for the past 13 periods of train performance).

Jamie Burles, Managing Director, Abellio Greater Anglia said: "A number of issues, including infrastructure failures, train faults and adverse weather affected train service performance in Period 9. We are continuing to work closely with Network Rail to do all we can to improve punctuality and reliability across our network and I am sorry for the occasions when delays and disruption have affected train services and for the inconvenience this will have caused our customers.”
