Greater Anglia employees at Billericay rail station have been praised by a mystery shopper for giving excellent customer service.

After being secretly assessed, Julie Munday and Mausumi Samantha, who work in the ticket office, were awarded top marks for being friendly, helpful and professional when providing help and information to passengers.

Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, Michael O’Callaghan, commented, “I am delighted that Julie and Mausumi have been independently recognised.

“They consistently deliver exceptional customer service at Billericay, so it came as no surprise to me when I heard that they had received top marks.”

Andrew Goodrum, Greater Anglia’s Customer Service Director, said, “We are always working to improve customer service so that passengers have a good experience when they travel with us.

“One important element of this is to give our staff additional training, enabling them to provide the best service possible.”

Customer service and quality standards at Greater Anglia stations are assessed on a regular basis and Julie and Mausumi achieved a perfect 100% score when assessed as part of a recent mystery shopping exercise carried out between 1st and 28th April 2018.
