From the opening of The Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth to the Farmers’ Markets springing up across the region, Greater Anglia is encouraging families to get out and explore this Spring.

To make it easier and even more convenient to travel by train, families can use a Family & Friends Railcard for a saving of up to a 1/3 OFF most rail fares. The card covers up to four adults and four children, with savings of up to a third on most adult rail fares and 60% savings on the cost of child fares. Marking the start of the summer season, the much-loved Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is once again opening its doors to locals and visitors alike on 24 March. Farmers’ Markets are a great way to sample local produce and soak up the atmosphere of a town, with many monthly markets happening across East Anglia. The Bury St Edmunds Farmers’ Market takes place on the second Sunday of every month and offers a firm promise that none of the produce will have travelled further than 30 miles.
