Greater Anglia employees at rail stations in Essex have been praised by mystery shoppers for giving excellent customer service.

After being secretly assessed, Steve Brown and James Davenport, train dispatchers who work on the platforms at Chelmsford, and Julia Harris, who works at Kelvedon station, were awarded top marks for being friendly, helpful and professional when providing help and information to passengers.

Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, Simi Tinubu, commented, “I am delighted that Steve, James and Julia have been independently recognised for consistently delivering excellent service to customers.”

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia’s Commercial and Customer Services Director, said, “We are always working to improve customer service so that passengers have the best possible experience when they travel with us.

“One important element of this is to give our staff additional training, enabling them to provide the best service possible.”
