Greater Anglia employee praised for top customer service

A Greater Anglia employee has been praised by a mystery shopper for giving excellent customer service.

After being secretly assessed, Annie Jewell, who works as On Board Host was awarded top marks for being friendly, helpful and professional when serving refreshments to passengers on Greater Anglia’s Norwich – London services.

Greater Anglia’s Business Manager – On Board Catering, Michael Wyatt, commented, “I’m delighted that Annie has been recognised for the great customer service she provides on board, always smiling and friendly and helpful to customers.”

Martin Moran, Greater Anglia’s Commercial and Customer Services Director, said, “We are always working to improve customer service so that passengers have the best possible experience when they travel with us.

“One important element of this is to give our staff additional training, enabling them to provide the best service possible.”

Customer service and quality standards at Greater Anglia stations are assessed on a regular basis and Annie achieved a perfect 100% score when assessed as part of a recent mystery shopping exercise.
