Cyclists at a Cambridgeshire railway station are set to benefit from better cycle parking after Greater Anglia installed new cycle racks.

The train operator has invested more than £40,000 and created 30 new cycle spaces at Dullingham railway station.

The old cycle hoops have been removed and replaced with two-tier cycle racks, which are covered.

Simone Bailey, Greater Anglia’s Asset Management Director, said: “We know many of our customers choose to cycle to the station, which is why we have now made it even easier for them at Dullingham.

“We are committed to improving cycle facilities for our customers by installing more cycle parking spaces and the new facilities at Dullingham will offer customers an improved and more secure cycle storage facility.”

During the current franchise, Greater Anglia will create an additional 4,000 cycle parking spaces across its network.
