Rail passengers in north Essex are advised to check before they travel while engineering work is carried out between Harwich Town and Harwich International this month.
From Saturday 6 April to Sunday 14 April, buses will replace trains between Harwich Town and Harwich International (via Dovercourt) while improvements are carried out to the track.
More than a kilometre of track will be replaced during this time.
Jamie Burles, Greater Anglia’s Managing Director, said: “We are transforming the railway in East Anglia, and this work is essential to modernise and improve the track.
“We will be running a rail replacement bus service while this work is being carried out, so everyone will be able to complete their journey.
“We would like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while this work is carried out.”
