Kind hearted Greater Anglia staff helped to raise hundreds of pounds for a local animal rescue charity.

They facilitated bucket collections for volunteers of The Animal Rescue Charity on the platforms at Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow Town and Cheshunt rail stations.

The charity raised a grand total of £762 between all three stations.

Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, Amy Brown, said, “As part of the community we serve we are happy to support charities that are close to the hearts of local people. We’d like to thank everyone who donated for their generosity.”

The Animal Rescue Charity is based in Bishop’s Stortford and provides a safe haven for neglected, unwanted and abandoned dogs, cats and other animals.
