This December, Santa will be taking a break from the North Pole and making a special visit to Norfolk and Suffolk by train.

Father Christmas will be catching 10 Greater Anglia trains this month, and when he’s not busy riding around East Anglia, you can catch him having a rest in his grotto at Norwich Station where he will be giving out treats.

Santa will be in his grotto on Norwich Station concourse on Sunday 10 and Sunday 17 December from 10.00 until 14.00.

The events have been organised in association with The East Suffolk Lines, Bittern Line and Wherry Lines Community Rail Partnerships.

Paul Haynes, Greater Anglia’s Community Partnerships Manager, said: “We’re very pleased to welcoming Santa to the Greater Anglia network this year. This is a good opportunity for families to enjoy a day out at one of the brilliant destinations we serve, and see Santa on the journey.

“Those who are unable to catch one of the trains will be able to visit him at his grotto on Norwich station concourse.

“We have a great range of fares for families travelling together. Children travel for just £2 with any paying adult, while groups of three or more adults can save a third on fares with GroupSave.”
