Cambridge Literary Festival brings an eclectic mix of today’s best writers, thinkers and speakers to Cambridge all year round.

Joining the line-up this for the Spring Festival this April is Michelin star celebrity chef Tom Kerridge; Never Mind the Buzzcocks comedy legend Simon Amstell; pioneering psychotherapist, Susie Orbach; former Artistic Director of the National Theatre Nicholas Hytner; our longest continuously serving female MP Harriet Harman; prize-winning novelists Alan Hollinghurst, Sarah Winman, Jim Crace, Kit de Waal and Rose Tremain; star of the BBC One Dr in the House series Dr Rangan Chatterjee; feminists Helen Pankhurst and Laura Bates; exploring race in Britain today Guardian journalist Afua Hirsch; former leader of the Labour Party Ed Miliband; mindfulness guru and comedian Ruby Wax; poetry treasure Wendy Cope; plus a vibrant children’s programme starring top comedians Harry Hill and Adrian Edmondson, historian Lucy Worsley and former children’s laureate Chris Riddell
