Colchester Chinese Culture Society, a non-profit making organisation dedicated to fostering a greater cultural awareness of China here in the Greater Anglia region, stages an evening of dance, performance and art to mark the Year of the Rat. Highlights include a traditional lion dance, Chinese folk dance and singing from a National Grade 1 artist. The Chinese New Year Gala is also one of the opening events of Essex 2020.
