Transforming your railway with new trains
3rd April 2017
New Greater Anglia Trains
As part of our new franchise, we will be replacing every train in our fleet with brand new trains. Over the last few months we have been busy ordering more than 1,000 new carriages and designing them so that they are ready to be introduced during 2019/20.
We can now share some information and artists’ impressions of how these new trains will look when they arrive in service for you. All trains will come complete with free high-quality Wi-Fi, at-seat plug and USB points, air conditioning and state-of-the-art passenger information screens.
We would love to hear your views on our new train designs. We've already incorporated feedback from a number of key stakeholder groups, but we also want to know what you think about the new trains. If you have any thoughts, views or suggestions, please leave your comments at the bottom of this page.
The feedback we receive will help inform the final designs. Thank you.
