Update: Owing to the unprecedented number of enquiries relating to the current situation with the Covid-19 coronavirus, we are currently unable to process requests to swap paper season tickets to Smart Card season tickets. We will endeavor to provide this service once again as soon as possible.

Here you will be able to submit details of your existing Season Ticket in order to request a swap over from paper to a new Smart Card. This is a free service offered to existing Season Ticket holders, available at participating stations.

Please note that the service is only available for Seasons Tickets purchased from our website or any of the Greater Anglia stations listed on the Smart Swap form. This service is only available for Season Tickets with a remaining validity of one month or more.

We aim to honour all requests within ten business days. Customers will receive regular communication once their request has been processed and when the Smart Card is ready for collection.

Customers are required to bring along their original season ticket, National Rail photo card and additional form of ID (bank card, drivers licence, passport, etc).

West Route: Cambridge, Great Chesterford, Audley End, Newport, Elsenham, Stansted Airport, Stansted Mountfitchet, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow Mill, and Harlow Town.

North Route: Norwich, Diss, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Manningtree, Colchester, Colchester Town, Wivenhoe, Frinton-on-Sea, Clacton-on-Sea, Marks Tey, Kelvedon, Braintree, Witham, Hatfield Peverel, Chelmsford, Ingatestone and Liverpool Street.

South East Route: Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford and Southend Victoria.
