Due to a person being hit by a train between Gidea Park and Chadwell Heath some lines are blocked.

Impact

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until further notice.

Customer Advice

Due to a person being hit by a train between Chadwell Heath and Gidea Park the Mainlines are blocked.

Trains are able to run on two out of the four lines but services may delayed, altered or cancelled.

Please be advised, some services on the Braintree branch have been cancelled and a bus will be at Witham between 21:30-21:45. Services on the Braintree branch will be reinstated from the 22:56 Braintree to Witham departure.

Alternative routes;

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on TfL trains between Liverpool Street and Shenfield.

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on TfL services between Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street where passengers can travel from Fenchurch Street to Southend Central.
