Points failure between Stansted Mountfitchet and Elsenham

Following an earlier points failure between Stansted Mountfitchet and Elsenham all lines towards Liverpool Street are now open.

Impact

Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 15:00 13/11.

Customer Advice

Due to an earlier points failure outside of Stansted Mountfitchet, services are disrupted.

This is affecting services travelling from Cambridge going towards London Liverpool Street. The points have now been fixed.

Ticket acceptance is in place with London Underground and Great Northern/Govia Thameslink Railway for passengers wishing to travel to London via Kings Cross.

Network Rail are on site and have fixed the fault.
