Service disruption at Chelmsford

Following an earlier train fault at Chelmsford the line towards Liverpool Street is now open.

Train services running through this station are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 11:00 11/02.

Due to an earlier fault on a train at Chelmsford, services departing Clacton-on-Sea, Ipswich, Norwich, Colchester, Witham, Braintree and Chelmsford going to London Liverpool Street and vice versa are being disrupted.

Services are being delayed up to 30 minutes, the failed train has now moved and services are able to depart normally from platform 1 at Chelmsford.
