Following a fault with the signalling system earlier today between Shelford and Cambridge all lines are now open.


Train services running through these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 17:00 08/11.

Customer Advice

Due to an earlier signal system fault between Shelford and Cambridge, services are being disrupted.

Services in and out of Cambridge are being delayed.

Network Rail engineers have fixed the fault, Services are subject to delays and alterations whilst the service recovers.

Incident information:

A fault with the signals controlling the trains from Shelford to Cambridge and GN services Foxton to Cambridge, is delaying services. The signaller is unable to set the route at Shepreth junction, and trains are being given authority to pass signals by the signaller. This is causing the delay, as it takes time to complete.
