Train service disruption Norwich to Gt Yamouth & Lowestoft

Following a broken rail between Norwich and Brundall all lines will be reopened shortly.

Impact

Train services running to and from these stations are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 14:00 12/11.

Customer Advice

Due to an earlier broken rail between Norwich and Brundall, services are disrupted.

Network rail engineers are on site and working on the track.

This is affecting services running from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and Norwich to Lowestoft.

The below services have been cancelled.

The 10:36 Norwich to Great Yamouth

The 11:17 Great Yarmouth to Norwich

The 10:58 Norwich to Lowestoft.

The 11:48 Lowestoft to Norwich.

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on Local bus routes X1 & X2

Incident information:

Parts of the track have been found to be faulty, between Norwich and Brundall. (Whitlingham junction). This has stopped us from running trains to Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Network Rail will need to repair the faulty parts, to allow trains to run again.
