Train service disruption Norwich to Sheringham

Due to a fault with the signalling system between Norwich and Sheringham trains have to run at reduced speed.


Train services running to and from these stations will be suspended between Cromer and Sheringham. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer Advice

Due to a signal system fault, on the Norwich to Sheringham line, services will be terminating and starting from Cromer for the rest of the day.

Network Rail will be working on fixing the fault as quick as they can.

There will be a bus shuttle service running from Cromer to Sheringham and Sheringham to Cromer for the rest of the day.

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on Sanders buses Coast Hopper 1 & 2 and X44.

Incident information:

Signalling equipment that controls the level crossings on the Norwich to Sheringham line has failed. Network Rail engineers will be working on the equipment through out the day.
