Trespass incident between Colchester and Colchester Town
Due to an earlier trespass incident between Colchester and Colchester Town all lines are now open Train services through these stations may be subject to disruption on all routes. Disruption is expected until further notice.
Due to an earlier person on a bridge between Colchester and Colchester Town, services between Colchester/Colchester Town/Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-Naze are being disrupted.
British Transport Police and Network Rail are currently on site and have managed to get the person to a place of safety. There is now power back in the overhead line equipment and we are able to run trains normally.
Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption.

Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
