There are two cycle compounds adjacent to the 20-minute parking bays on the access road to the station - one has 104 spaces available and the secure compound has 80 spaces. There is another secure compound beyond the side entrance to the station at the far end of Platform 2 (for trains towards London) which has 32 stands available. A further ten stands are located beyond the smaller station building at the side entrance to the station and these can be accessed from Platform 2.

If you're travelling from London to Manningtree station, please travel in the front coaches as the doors on the last coach may not open at Manningtree. This is for Greater Anglia trains with 10 or 12 coaches only as the doors on the last coach will not open at Manningtree.
