5 tips for getting cheaper train tickets
1. Book directly to avoid booking fees
Save on unnecessary booking fees when you book on our website or app.
2. Book early
The earlier you book, the cheaper your ticket could be. We put our advance tickets on sale around 8 weeks in advance. Hurry. They're first come, first serve.
3. Travel at off-peak times on weekdays
If you've missed our advance tickets, you should travel off-peak to save money Monday to Friday.
4. Use a railcard
Most railcards are £30 for a year's membership and give you 1/3 off train travel. They're a great investment because you can quickly make your money back in savings. Buy a railcard online.
