Abellio Greater Anglia to run extra services for Chappel beer festival

Abellio Greater Anglia is operating additional services to Chappel & Wakes Colne railway station next week to help punters celebrate Chappel Beer Festival.

The beer festival runs from Tuesday 6 – Saturday 10 September and is held close to Chappel & Wakes Colne railway station, which is on the Marks Tey to Sudbury line

From Tuesday 6 September to Saturday 10 September, additional rail and bus services will be running between Chappel and Marks Tey, where passengers can connect with mainline services to London Liverpool Street, Chelmsford, Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich. Additional services will also run between Chappel and Sudbury. The last service leaving Chappel for Marks Tey (for connection with mainline services) will be at 23.52. The last service for Sudbury will leave Chappel at 23.17.
