Following a vehicle striking a bridge at Needham Market all lines have now reopened.
Train services running through this station are returning to normal but some services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 19:30 17/11.
A vehicle struck a bridge at Needham Market and as a result train services from Ipswich to Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough have been disrupted. The bridge has been examined and trains are now able to run over the bridge at normal speed. However some services may be delayed, altered or cancelled.
The 17:50 Peterborough to Ipswich service will start from March.
The 17:44 Cambridge to Ipswich service has been delayed and is now running 12 minutes late.
The 17:20 Ipswich to Cambridge service is running 11 minutes late.
Greater Anglia and Network Rail are sorry if your journey has been affected by this disruption.
Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
