Located on the most easterly point of the British Isles, Lowestoft provides the perfect holiday location or great day out for all ages, with a mix of beautiful beaches and fun family attractions all set within a traditional seaside town.

If you're looking for a traditional seaside day out, head down to the seafront with Blue Flag award winning sandy beaches. If it's a bit of green you're after, head over to the Victorian seafront gardens. And it doesn't stop there! If you can drag yourself away from the sandy beaches, check out the Royal Plain Fountains, Lowestoft's two piers and much, much more.

Lowestoft has a rich maritime heritage, which is told through a number of the town’s museums and heritage walks. For those wishing to taste some local delicacies then a trip to a local fishmonger or one of the traditional smokehouses in the town is a must.

If you're visiting for the evening, why not take a trip to the Marina Theatre, which has a diverse programme of famous performances running throughout the year. If the theatre isn't your thing, visitors have the choice of cinema, family bowling or simply enjoying a meal at one of the many restaurants in the town.
