Train operator Greater Anglia will be running a Saturday frequency of service on their rural routes on the Bank Holidays celebrating H.M. The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

On the Bank Holidays of Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 June, local services from Norwich to Sheringham, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft; and Ipswich to Cambridge, Felixstowe, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth will therefore run to a Saturday service rather than the normal Sunday timetable on Bank Holidays. Greater Anglia’s intercity train services between Norwich and London will run at an hourly frequency on the 4 and 5 June. For specific train times customers are advised to check details at: www.greateranglia.co.uk

Andrew Goodrum, Customer Service Director, Greater Anglia said “The Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend is an ideal time for friends and family to get out and about exploring the region, so why not take the train and take advantage of leisure fares such as groupsave and the 2 for 1 admissions offer at key attractions. We are pleased to be offering more rural train services in Norfolk and Suffolk than on other Bank Holidays.”
