Abellio Greater Anglia are really sorry that the £5 Seat Sale has not gone live on the 14th as promised. We have now identified that this is a fares system error due to the late changes to the fares regulation announced last week by the government. Although Abellio Greater Anglia checked and was advised that these changes would not affect the promotional fares, they unfortunately did cause an issue to the start date of the promotion.
The good news is that Abellio Greater Anglia is working on a fix, and the 30,000 promotional fares will be available by the end of the week at the latest, for the promotional travel dates as advertised. Look out for the banner on our website.
