Abellio Greater Anglia’s Brimsdown Station has been recognised at the annual Enfield in Bloom awards.
Members of the station team were awarded a ‘Certificate of Merit’ for their contribution to making the London Borough of Enfield a more attractive place to live and work.
Brimsdown station has received many accolades for its floral displays in previous years, thanks to the care and attention of station team members, Dawn Norton and Patrycja Ptaszyhska.
They work all year round to acquire, maintain and care for the planting on platform 2 and regularly change the displays to reflect the season, attracting many positive comments from passengers using the station.
Alan Neville, Abellio Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager said: “I’m delighted that the efforts of the station team has been recognised by this award. Our partnership with Enfield in Bloom has helped to create a more welcoming station environment and an attractive gateway to Brimsdown.”
